LIST OF PARAMETERS The following parameters can be found in the IAU MDC database. If the asterisk (*) is in front of the code of parameter, the parameter is compulsory; it is given in every partial catalog. No catalog contains all listed parameters. Some new catalogs provide the important parameters with its determination error, delta_???, where ??? stand for the code of the parameter. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *DB - specification of the partial database *IC - IAU MDC identification code Ano - unique number/code assigned to the meteor by the author (in the observational station) *Yr - year of the meteor detection *Mn - month of the meteor detection *Day, delta_Day - day and fraction of day of the detection in the UTC time scale LS, delta_LS - solar longitude corresponding to the date of the meteor detection [deg] mv, delta_mv - maximum photographic brightness of meteor [magnitude] HB, delta_HB - height of the beginning of meteor trail [km] HM, delta_HM - height of the maximum brightness [km] HE, delta_HE - height of the end of meteor trail [km] *RA, delta_RA - right ascension of the geocentric radiant [deg] *DEC, delta_DEC - declination of the geocentric radiant [deg] Vi, delta_Vi - extra-atmospheric velocity [km/s] *Vg, delta_Vg - geocentric velocity [km/s] *Vh, delta_Vh - heliocentric velocity [km/s] cZ, delta_cZ - cosine of the zenith distance of geocentric radiant Qm - quality code *q, delta_q - perihelion distance [AU] *e, delta_e - numerical eccentricity of the orbit a1, delta_a1 - reciprocal semi-major axis [1/AU] a, delta_a - semi-major axis [AU] Qa, delta_Qa - aphelion distance [AU] *i, delta_i - inclination of the orbit to the ecliptic [deg] *arg, delta_arg - argument of perihelion [deg] *nod, delta_nod - longitude of ascending node [deg] pi, delta_pi - longitude of perihelion [deg] sh - the IAU meteor shower code Mas, delta_Mas - pre-atmospheric photometric mass [g] lgM, delta_lgM - common logarithm of the mass cor - remark on correction (if appears) crh - remark on extreme hyperbola mr, delta_mr - magnitude (stellar) of radio meteor Hrf, delta_Hrf - the height of the central point of the radio-meteor trail [km] LpA, delta_LpA - common logarithm of linear electron density of the central point of radio-meteor trail, p_{\alpha} [electron/cm] dur - duration of meteor [s]
